This is my first time for not celebrating Christmas with my family. Compared to last year, it was totally different.
Christmas Eve – I didn’t go for my acc class. Hell no! It’s Christmas Eve! I woke up at 11 in the morning. Hahahahaha. Damn! I supposed to go and buy all the stuffs in the morning! Me and my house mate, Stephanie went down to the flat nearby and we bought some meat and vegetables. I spoke to her; maybe I should go to pasar because some of the materials weren’t provided by them. Namapun kedai runcit.
Its 2pm. Ikhmal texted me and said he wanted to send me to Giant Batu Cave. “bagaikan mengantuk disorong bantal”. We bought some rendang paste, fishes, and sausages. I reached home at 3.30pm and I spoke to myself not to waste the time and start to cook! Traceen wasn’t around. Luckily, Joanna didn’t go anywhere that evening.
I cooked my rendang daging and it tasted sedap jugak lah. That is what my friends told me! Hahahaha. (kembang hidung). And the rest, Kak Lisa – one of my house mates help me to cook. Everything was settled at 8pm and I took my bath, rushed to church and at last, me and Traceen have reached church by taxi at 9pm. luckily the church wasn’t that full while we reached there.
Holy night – that was the opening hymn for Christmas mass. Felt like wanna cry, I missed home so much, my sisters, brother, family, all of them. The mass was ended at 11pm and we reached home just 20minutes after it. We invited Natasha and her friend, Fiffy to join us gathered in my house. Ikhmal – he’s the only man of the night. Thanks to him, for everything!
It was a fun night, yes. A night to be remembered. Stephanie, she gets drunk! We bought 3 bottles of beers and yes, drunk!!! Hahahaa. The next morning, none of us, went for the Christmas missal! Hahahahaa. We went to Berjaya Time Square and we watched movie together – Gulliver’s Travels. It was fun. Though we have to hide all of our tears from rolling down, yearp. It’s hard to be far from families while all of them are busy celebrating Christmas without us. When I flashed back all the memories, it was sad. I still remembered how busy I was during Christmas 2006, 2006, and the last Christmas with my family, 2008 in Limbang. And God’s will, I’ll be back for the next Christmas. AMEN.
